Project
The timber superstructure comprises three forms of construction;
The double curved tower is made from Kerto 'Q' LVL profile cut ribs clad with Triply OSB bonded to the varying shape. They form structural panels supporting an intermediate floor, roof and some main roof beams.
The folded plate main roof is also built around Kerto beams curved on plan and elevation. Infil rafters are individually positioned to allow the cladding plywood to follow the curves in shallow conical forms. Rafters and plywood are both in Whitewood (Spruce).
All internal surfaces are clear coated with Envirograph to provide class 'O' control of flame spread.
