Project

A dwelling based on a post & beam structure formed from glulam. The majority is made from Scottish Spruce having 200 x 250 beams. Some are 300 deep for detailing purposes and externally exposed elements are finished in Douglas Fir. The dimensional grid is 4800 x 3600. Jointing is by Cowley epoxy bonded connectors which are in vertical pairs to provide moment capacity in both axes and stiffen the frame accordingly.
